Tourism word define from tourists. Peoples can travel from one place to another place.  Mostly during vacations ,tourists came from different places in india. Lot of places in chandigarh city which can attract to peoples such as Lake, Rose Garden, Sector 17(Markets).

Sukhna lake

Sukhna lake is placed in sect 1 chandigarh. According to priority sukhna promote eco-tourism. It look more beautiful by four-streyed tower on the island. Mostly sukhna is used during the annually once ,when a rowing event helded at the lake.It has a full length watercourse which was implemented in 1989 along with the tower. Tourists came from different places to see a lake .Sukhna look very nice n beautiful for boating & bird watchers paradise. Sukhna is also a very good picnic sport area.

Rose Garden

Rose garden was organised by Nek Chand Saini who  was citizen of chandigarh in 1958. Once a year rose festival is organised in  Rose Garden. Various peoples come from different locations in rose garden.Rose garden is beautifully decorated by different kinds of flower. In festival different kinds of stalls be there for eatings as popcorns, ice cream, & much more as shoppings.Rose festival is mega event in city beautiful.

Shopping Center

City's big shopping complex is placed in sect 17. Market scene look very romantic & interesting as  like quite spacious. Market  always be fully rushed with traffic mostly in evening. Footpaths on both sides outside the shops as for pedestrians. Sector 17 market  is main market in the chandigarh.

In the afternoon , school children reach to market and observing things according to their requirement. Some of them came in evening with their parents .Also visit to eating places like as hotels and restaurant. Mostly in  holidays market look overcrowded with peoples. All peoples  look for good things.

Rock Garden

Rock garden is called as rockery garden(garden of rocks )This garden used various kinds of stones as well as rocks like as plants in rockful enviorment. City beautiful was  developed in 1950s .It was designed by french architect Le Corbusier. This garden is monument by his global importance in world. At that time, this place was used as thrown away for industrial wastage material . Rock garden is world's curious place for its wellness technique .Rock garden was founded by Shri Nek Chand Saini, He came to chandigarh in1958.Nek chand saini came from gurdaspur Ath that time , he collected various wastage materials like bangles ,electronic tubes, rocks turned into artifical objects Rock garden visited by 5000 people per day.
